Rue De Rivoli
interior design
Located on Rue de Rivoli in central Paris, this project involved the reconfiguration and interior design of a private residential apartment. The scope focused on refining the layout, developing bespoke joinery, and selecting a cohesive palette of materials to better organise and define the principal living spaces.
Rue de Rivoli
Location: Paris, France
interior design
Set on Rue de Rivoli, this Paris apartment sits within one of the city’s most recognisable stretches, connecting the Marais with the Louvre and Place de la Concorde. With open views across the Tuileries Gardens and glimpses of the Eiffel Tower in the distance, the setting plays a quiet but important role in shaping the atmosphere of the space.
The interior, led by our lead designer Badrieh Johari, takes its cues from both the architecture and the pace of everyday living. Rather than overworking the scheme, the focus was on restraint—using a soft, neutral palette alongside carefully chosen materials and bespoke joinery to create a sense of depth and balance. Badrieh’s wider experience across some of London’s most prestigious interior design is evident in the clarity and confidence of the decisions made throughout.
The main living space was rethought to work more intuitively, dividing it into two seating areas that can be used in different ways without feeling separate. At the centre, a grand piano anchors the room, not just as a feature piece but as part of how the space is used—bringing a sense of rhythm and purpose to the layout.
